The admission process at St. Andrews College of Physiotherapy is designed to be simple, transparent, and student-friendly for aspiring candidates seeking quality physiotherapy education. Applicants are required to review the eligibility criteria, complete the application form, and submit the necessary academic and identification documents as per the admission guidelines.
01. Check Eligibility & Admission Guidelines
Review the eligibility criteria, academic qualifications, and admission regulations as prescribed by MUHS, DMER, and Pravesh Niyantran Samiti, Mumbai before starting the admission process. Admission to the BPT course follows the rules and guidelines issued by these competent authorities.
02. Appear for NEET Examination
Candidates must appear for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) for the respective academic year. Admission to the BPT program is strictly based on the merit list prepared from NEET scores as per government regulations.
03. Register on the Government Admission Portal
After the declaration of the NEET results, candidates must complete the mandatory registration on the official Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Maharashtra admission portal to participate in the centralized counselling process.
04. Fill Preference Form & Counselling Process
Candidates must select their preferred colleges by filling the online preference form available on the DMER website. Based on NEET merit and preference selection, eligible candidates are allotted colleges during the counselling rounds conducted by the government authority.
05. Document Verification & Admission Confirmation
Once allotted to the college, candidates must complete the admission process by:
- Filling the college admission form
- Submitting original documents for verification
- Paying the required admission fees
Admission is confirmed only after successful document verification and completion of all formalities.

2. Identity & Nationality Documents
- Nationality Certificate issued by District Magistrate OR Attested Valid Indian Passport indicating the nationality of the candidate as INDIAN
- Domicile Certificate issued by District Magistrate endorsed with nationality as Indian on it

- SSC (Secondary) Statement of Mark Sheet
- SSC Passing Certificate
- HSC (Higher Secondary) Statement of Mark Sheet

4. Category / Reservation Documents (If Applicable)
- Caste Certificate
- Caste Validity Certificate
- Valid Non-Creamy Layer Certificate for VJ, NT-1, NT-2, NT-3, OBC, SBC (Valid up to 31/03/2023)
- EWS Certificate with Income Certificate for A.Y 2022-2023
5. College & Academic Transfer Documents
- College Leaving Certificate (LC / TC)
- Migration Certificate issued by the respective Board / University (If Applicable)

- Medical Fitness Certificate on Doctor's Letterhead (Annexure H format available in NEET UG 2022 Brochure)
- Affidavit Gap Certificate (If Applicable)

Eligibility Criteria
Admission to the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) program follows the eligibility norms prescribed by the competent authorities including MUHS, DMER, and the Government of Maharashtra. Candidates must meet the required academic qualifications, age criteria, and medical fitness standards before applying for admission.
Eligibility
- The candidate should be the citizen of India
- Candidates over 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
- The candidate must have passed (HSC) 10+2 examination from a recognized board/Equivalent board
- Candidate should have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with English core/elective
- Candidate should be medically fit

It is compulsory that the candidate must have appeared for the NEET exam in the year in which admission is sought.
