EDUCATIONAL VISIT TO BILD – 2023
An educational visit to BEHAVIOURAL INTERVENTION FOR LIFESTYLE DISORDERS (BILD) CLINIC was organized by the Cardiovascular and Respiratory Physiotherapy Department, St Andrew’s College of Physiotherapy on 4th November 2023 at 3:00PM. 3rd and 4th BPTh students visited the center. All students were first provided with a short talk by Dr. Pramod Patil on the topic of INTERMITTENT HYPOXIC TRAINING. He gave a tour of the ergonomic and posture correction block. He took us to the exercise block where it was divided into endurance training, upper limb resistance, lower limb resistance, balance training, core training, etc. There he demonstrated some advanced devices like water weight bag, reaction time lights, isokinetic strength trainer, vaccum treadmill, etc. It was an informative educational visit where students learned about new advanced concepts and also saw some advanced devices of training. The visit concluded with a note of thanks by students and felicitation of Dr. Pramod Patil by staff.
