Activity Report- 25th August 28, 2018 Hands on Workshop on Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation
One day hands on workshop was organized by St. Andrews College of Physiotherapy and Ask Physios for Students of St. Andrews College of Physiotherapy. 40 students from St. Andrews college of Physiotherapy had registered for the workshop.
Students assembled at the workshop venue at Hardas Heart Foundation, Thube park Shivajinagar at 9.00 am. Students were Welcomed by Dr. Prerak Arya who discussed the program schedule which was followed by breakfast.
Introductory Talk was given by Dr. Suhas Hardas, Consultant & Interventional Cardiologist in which he addressed the students and told the need to conduct the free workshops on CPR- the life saving technique.
Introduction to CPR and Demonstration of CPR was done by Mr. Ravi Singh who is certified trainer for the CPR technique. Rescue Position was also taught to the students.
Individual Training of the CPR technique was done under supervision of Dr. Suhas Hardas & Mr. Ravi Singh.
The workshop ended with Concluding remarks, Question & Answer session by Dr. Suhas Hardas and Mr. Ravi Singh. Participation Certificate was given to students at the end.
