SURFACE ANATOMY WORKSHOP– NOV 2022
Event is organized on 12th and 13th November, 2022 in the Physiology Laboratory in St. Andrews College Of Physiotherapy, Pune. The workshop was held on the basics of Surface Anatomy among the final year students of Physiotherapy in order to address the landmarks of anatomical structures in order to implicate those in their clinical practice. Dr. M. Vijay Kumar gave a comprehensive lecture to students on the surface and functional anatomy of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand. He also covered the integrated functions of the upper limb, thorax, and trunk, emphasizing their interconnected anatomy and functions. Additionally, he discussed the integrated anatomy and functions of the trunk and lower limb, including dermatomes. Different possible abnormalities of different structures and their treatment protocols were discussed. At the end of the session Doubt clearing session was held. After each Session enough Hands-on practice were given to the students along with doubt solving sessions.
